Borescope / Remote Visual Inspection (RVI)
Internal visual inspection for hard-to-reach areas—capture clear images/video, identify indications early, and support maintenance decisions with practical reporting.
What RVI helps you see—without disassembly
Remote Visual Inspection (RVI) uses a flexible borescope/videoscope to visually assess internal surfaces where direct line-of-sight is not possible.
Typical applications include internal corrosion checks, weld root condition, deposits/foreign object checks, erosion, cracking indications, and general condition assessment inside pipes, tubes, vessels, heat exchangers, and fabricated structures.
Capabilities
RVI deliverables and inspection approach
High-clarity visuals
Still images and video capture to document internal condition and support engineering decisions.
Access to tight spaces
Flexible insertion for bends and restricted access points—ideal for tubes, small bores, and confined internals.
Condition documentation
Findings recorded with location references, observations, and practical notes for follow-up actions.
Fast mobilisation
Suitable for shutdown windows and urgent checks—supporting quick go/no-go decisions where possible.
